Symantec has evolved to become the global player in cyber security, with more than 11,000 employees in more than 35 countries. Symantec leads the way in providing security, storage, and systems management solutions to help consumers and organizations secure and manage their information-driven world.

Symantec has a broad and deep sales force composed of in-house sales team members and independent sales representatives. Before becoming qualified to sell Symantec products and solutions, each sales team member is required to undertake training and pass an assessment. Due to quick company expansion, Symantec needed training to be brief, focused, and highly engaging. The urgency of time-to-market required that the training be available online with modules being built and deployed quickly.

PulseLearning created a Sales Training program using reusable rapid development templates in PowerPoint. The templates allow the Symantec in-house team to quickly and easily update the courses materials in the future. The materials were then transformed into Adobe Presenter to offer a wide array of interactions including click-to-reveals and drag-and-drops.

The first eLearning course and Assessment was so well received by Symantec that they engaged PulseLearning to develop an additional eight courses.Symantec-Logo
