Compliance Training

Bupa is an international healthcare group, serving 29 million customers in over 190 countries. Bupa runs over 300 care homes and health centers across the UK. Following a review of the Health and Safety at Work Regulations Act in 2009, new national changes were recommended and implemented to the first aid training regime, which affected workplace first aiders.

To ensure compliance with the updated regulations, Bupa UK required assistance with the ongoing delivery of face-to-face first aid refresher training across five regions in the UK. PulseLearning provided accredited and professionally qualified trainers, many ex Registered General Nurses (RGNs), to assist Bupa with the training rollout.

PulseLearning created and delivered a three-hour Instructor-led Training First Aid Refresher program that focused on maintaining and enhancing the practical skills of the first aiders. Full participation and involvement of the delegates in all aspects of the training was encouraged.
