PulseLearning had a fantastic start to St. Patrick’s weekend with a celebration of Irish- Australian technology companies in Australia as part of Enterprise Ireland’s 2019 Trade Mission with Heather Humphreys, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation.
In Melbourne’s Eureka Tower, our team, along with some clients, attended a business luncheon hosted on 13 March. A number of Irish-Australian technology companies partook in a panel discussion on how they scaled their business to expand in Australia and the supports available using #IrishAdvantage.
On 14 March, the focus moved to Sydney with Jim Breen presenting at a business breakfast hosted by Stone & Chalk, an independent, not-for-profit Fintech hub.
Later that afternoon, Jim joined our colleagues and clients at a business luncheon hosted by Enterprise Ireland. Heather Humphreys, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, gave a speech on the growth of Irish companies overseas and the continued supports available. Her speech was followed by a fantastic panel discussion where companies shared stories and discussed common obstacles to expansion and overcoming scaling pitfalls.
