Free sound effects and music

Freesound is a collaborative database of Creative Commons Licensed sounds. Browse, download, and share sounds – www.freesound.org

Incompetech is a royalty free music database. You can search genre, feel, or any word found in the entry for a particular pieces of music –www.incompetech.com/music/

1. Type your search words into Google and click on the images tab.

2. At the top right of the results page, you will see a little cog icon for settings. Click and select Advanced Search from the submenu.

3. At the bottom you will see a “Usage rights” drop-down menu. Select “Free to use or share”. (eLearning shouldn’t be considered ‘commercial’ unless you’re selling the end product.)

4. Click “Advanced Search” to see the results.
